Flowers in the lace are just a little different, and very well shaped for Duchesse. Much of the raised work is a ten-stick woven edge instead of the more common bundled threads. This adds an extra bit of definition and crispness to the design, and a bit more stability in the shape. Please click on image to enlarge.
