Elaborate single letter with scrolling that slightly obscures what it is, but it probably is a "P". Letter is surrounded by lovely flower arrangement in raised satin stitch. Condition overall appears to be very good. |

The style of edge, with rows of fine raised threads just above the hand-rolled hem is characteristic of twentieth century handkerchiefs. Hem is hand rolled. |
